This accessibility statement applies to Trevea’s electronic voting system at vaalit.trevea.fi. The statement was last updated on 24 November 2024. It is based on self-assessment made by Trevea as well as inspections carried out by testing tools.
Accessibility of the service
The service complies with levels A and AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1.
How accessibility of the service is being improved?
Improving accessibility is a continuous process. The accessibility of the service has so far been ensured through self-assessment, checks performed with accessibility testing tools (e.g. WebAIM WAVE), and user feedback.
Additional notes
The service uses the Haka identity federation for logging in. When logging in, users are redirected through Haka to their own organisation’s authentication service. Each organisation is responsible for the accessibility of its own authentication service.

Supervisory authority
If you notice accessibility issues on the website, please first give feedback to the service administrator (Trevea). You will receive a response within 14 days. If you are not satisfied with the response or do not receive one within two weeks, you can submit a notification to the Regional State Administrative Agency for Southern Finland. Their website provides detailed instructions on how to file a notification and how it will be processed.
